Happened to me at a hospital. The nurse always ask name and birthday. "Oh that's cool my dad was born in the same year".

Modern problems need modern solutions. I use the zoom on my phone camera to read that small shit.

That's exactly how i read all the tiny serial numbers on cisco equipment like SFPs and shit. Too small to read it otherwise. Phone zoom is king.

I have to wear reading glasses now, I will literally double them up on my face to read tiny print on labels.

If that doesn't work I have these in my workshop (usually used when painting minis for tabletop gaming)
