This game will have a free trial on Steam Dec 1-5. It's not perfect and I wouldn't recommend anyone get it at full price but they are slowly making improvements, sadly they won't be adding classes back in till early next year.

Outside of no mention of auto resolve the blog post seems pretty good. Being able to remove souls from the enemy factions and buildings to stop rifts from spawning will let people slow the game down massively and allow people to expand without having to worry about always doing rifts or camping...
