    The D&D thread

Spot on dude. Me and my friends were talking about that the other day. Weve been playing our xharacters for over 12yrs and 2 of 7 of my players have a players handbook for their class. Meanwhile I have all but 5 of the editions books. And I don't know how many minis I've bought over the years lol

    Woodworking

Yup I did. And that was exactly what I used and did. Oh I also should mention. I made the whole thing from pallets and shipping crates from work. we got a bunch of boxes made from bitch ply. So we disassembled them and took my share. I've also got a bunch of 3/4 birch ply. But it was small...

    Woodworking

I wanted to do wood runners since the Dwarven forge stuff was going to get really heavy. The drawers are 24x24. And I've never done wood runners before so I gave it whirl.

    Woodworking

So this is my 2nd finished woodworking project ever. I've made random dumb junk for garages but those were just rough cut shelves. So I wanted a place for all my Dwarven forge pieces. So I made this. Including the handles. I bought rings and made the back plates from an old desk. And the nails...

So I finally got to do some more work on the tsble saw. I just need to find belts and a new hairpin cotterpin for the motor. Then wire the new button in and mount it. And I'm done after that I think lol. I also got to my old vice this week and cleaned and regressed it.

    Dwarven Forge

https://dwarvenforge.com/ So I didn't want to start bombarding the miniature painting thread with just this. And I can't be the only one here that's got some DF stuff. But let's see what color scheme and themes you guys that do have come up with! Or your builds from games you've used it in.

    Miniature Painting

So I got a chance to start painting my Dwarven forge wildlands set. I did one test piece so far for a color scheme. Trees arent done yet.
  17. B

    Woodworking

Damn. And their miter saws are like $300 to $500 too. Gotta love how much plastic is on them lol. But I kid I have an old craftsman miter saw myself. I couldn't pass up the sale price of $65

    Woodworking

So I've finally got everything cleaned and painted and fixed on my unisaw. All that's left is getting off this damn pully still.

    Dungeons & Dragons (2022)

    Woodworking

So I manged to get a chance to paint the whole cabinet. And I've run into my first real problem. I can't remove the set screw from the arbor to get the shaft out to put new belts on. I've tried heat, 3 different penetrating oils and nothing. so I think I'm going to look link belts. I saw someone...

    JRPGs

Man I always see people raving about xenoblade chronicles. Are they really that good? And do they actually have anything to do with xenogears?
  23. B

    Woodworking

So today I got some time to sand and clean the cabinet for my table saw. Next week I might get to painting it. Before: After:

    The D&D thread

Yup. I always throw in fodder guys here and there just for my pcs to toss aside joyously. Then yeh there's always boas fights. Or something like am encounter I'd do with pseudo phases. Or a crazy dynamic that happens during the fight to mix it up. Which is usually due to something the pcs did.

    The D&D thread

I do agree 4e load outs are super video game build-esque. But for me I love that. And 9 out of 11 of players cannot make stuff up to do. We played 3.5 for years. And so many of them would spend all night "roll to hit" nothing else. But then the same guys with 4e were doing all this awesome...

    Diablo Immortal

First off yeah I know I'm old lol. But like what goes on in thr mind that rationalized spending $4600 on a single game. You could have bought like 75 triple A titles for that amount. I can't even begin to fathom it.

All they had to do was copy paste PoE microtransactions and no one would blink an eye. But this mess...good god

It certainly would be an undertaking. I've found a bunch of stuff today. Mostly just like 3d "filerips" I guess you'd call them. But if I stumble across new wonderfully detailed models modeled after the rpg artwork. Those models would be amazing. I'd totally do the whole pantheon.

    Woodworking

So I've finally finished working on the fence for my table saw. Hopefully I can manage to do the same job on the guys and rest of the cabinet. The only thing I need is a new micro adjustment knob. The old ones geared teeth rusted right off to the pole.
  35. B

    Woodworking

Ty guys. I'm going to give the Kroll and rust blaster a go. I've also got an old jointer to work on next anyhow. But that's in relatively good condition for being from mid 40s.
  36. B

    Woodworking

Right so here's my newest problem. I started working on the tablesaw fence. And the knob and pinion for the fence micro adjustment is just so stuck. 8 days of hitting it with penetrating oils and taps and it ain't budging. The inside where the teeth are is really rusted badly. Anyone got any...

So in part two of my unisaw restoration project. I had time to clean and repaint the handles. Then the cabinet, internal parts, fence, and motor.
  38. B

    Woodworking

So I've got my grandfathers old 47 delta unisaw. And I started doing some work on the table so far. I forgot a pic before working on it. But it was a good deep orange. thst spot on the extension is really deeply pitted. So that's staying I guess.
  39. B

    Woodworking

So I was driving around today and found someone throwing out a jointer. It's a delta either 45 or 47. And it's in pretty decent condition, just dirty. Only thing it's missing a motor and the pulls for the motor. So restoration project here I come.
