As someone who doesn't pay attention to this stuff anymore, the lack of any predecessor awards for Tarantino is a bad sign. While you could see a real wildcard Parasite or Joker sneak in as a result, I think it's way more likely 1917's Euro bloc will give it the base to win.

It won a couple, but obviously the more minor stuff.

Maybe I haven't watched the last few years but it seems like they're hammering through awards faster than normal? Most presenters doing 2 at a time?
