Wonder if anyone is willing to risk it, I see the eagles name being thrown around a lot.

Him showing up to get paid must seriously piss then off right now

Texans will somehow find a way to trade him to Texans and then be very very confused about the whole thing

Man, Washington has potential to have a scary DLine for years to come, if they can manage the salaries.

Doesn't even show Tim Settle, also 24, drafted same year as Daron Payne in 5th round, and Matt Ioannidis, 27. Both potential starter quality backups on the interior. Likely we end up trading Payne at some point and keeping one or two of those guys at cheaper price to start with Allen inside, in hopes we can keep both Sweat and Young long term.

Considering drafting Love only made sense if there was a sizable chance Rodgers was gone next year, all this really sounds like is a renegotiation on both sides:

Rodgers doesn't have to give back his signing bonus if he would have 'retired' this season and gets some say so in where he gets traded next season.
The Packers get to restructure his contract to have more room to work with this year, still get another year of Rodgers' services, and get Rodgers' cooperation with his next team (vs. fake retirement, the resulting cap hit, etc.)
