Get a Gamefly subscription for this one. Thank me later. I have a gut feeling this will be nothing like the Coolness Factor and character depth as FC5. And if that box art is true, looks like Bioware Montreal found new positions at Ubi Montreal.

I'll rent it for more Clutch Nixon.

I’m not nearly as critical of games as many here are. I’ve loved all the FarCry games, even found enjoyment from Primal (though my least favorite). There’s no reason for me to not get this one as it stands.

Don’t get me wrong, that box art is atrocious but yeah depending one when it comes out I may end up waiting. I have a long list of games after I get tired of Red Dead.

Far Cry box art usually showcases the villain of the game. If that's the case again this time the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE that explodes out of the game "journalist" hivemind will be legendary.

Yea, those look like the villains because that looks like Hurk tied up in the background. At his worst he's chaotic good.

This game was sort of lost in the shuffle during a year of exceptional games, but I had a really decent time with it throughout and will definitely jump into some DLC. It kind of reminds me of AC Odyssey - not great games by any stretch, a ton of "jank" but pretty fun to play and kill time with. The Clutch Nixon stuff was great as were quite a few of the set pieces.

far cry dawn is apparently out tomorrow (?), already up digitally on PSN/xbox and amazon, and sounds like its more like Fallout 76 than a SP game. co-op and some sort of PVP?

feb 15th, 2019 release date the dec 7th was false/fake. already up on uplay so coming everywhere
