This was one of the massive problems with the now scrapped UK age verification system. When they realized that the system would have to include every social media site in the world it quickly threw a spanner in the works.
In the end in was scrapped partially as they have absolutely no fucking way of keeping that data secure. But yeah, who the fuck comes up with these ideas?

Nowhere seems to say how he died. Locals heard him shouting for help at 10pm, he wasn't bought down until 16.00 by which time he had died. In this image you can see he was trapped by his left leg which appears to be caught on the ladder. 18 hours upside down is long enough to cause heart failure or death by asphyxia, that coupled with the sheer stress of the situation and his heart probably gave out. It must have been painful as fuck and terrifying.
There will probably be a Coroners' inquiry as to how and why he was up there, they should release the postmortem findings.
