I watched Bone Tomahawk back when it first came out because I heard Kurt Russell was involved. Holy fuck... it was nothing like I expected. This is not your cookie-cutter Hollywood Western, man. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Highly recommend.

I loved the scaredy chars, the acting in general, uncertainty and feel. The eary voices, mmmmmmm. But the gore was so barbaric it hurts. The throat box thingie, the scalping + oral impalement + severing from the genitals upside down with the guts splattering out, and oh, the pocket lark / flask imbedded in Kurt russel, the preggoes, ugh. This one will stay a while for sure. Watching some Star Trek to bleech.

Was beat and wanted something that required little thought to watch last night. Watched "The Live" again. Solid movie that on re-watch jibes perfectly with today's culture of me first. I could stomach a remake of this if they just updated the cast and modernized it a bit without touching the rest of the film. 7.5/10
The fight scene in the alley between Rowdy Roddy Piper and Keith David is 10/10 and is still one of the best put on film.

Parents used to go bowling once a week and they'd take my 4/5 year old ass there and just let me run around with the other kids. There was an entire gaming section we'd just sit and play arcade games in. Someone in another thread mentioned Brawl in Cellblock 99. Watched it tonight. Was really slow at first and I was like "why do they like this?" and then it turns a corner and holy shit not what I was expecting at all. 9/10
