Took me years to actually finish the first book.
Part of the problem was it refers to things that aren't set up in the story. No new reader is going to have a concept of the Landsraad, Faufreluches, or Kanly.
I eventually did finish it but it didn't inspire me to read the next two novels at all.
My take from it was he was a barely functioning sociopath who assembled a team of geniuses to do all the scientific heavy lifting and took all the credit for their work. I’m sure that’s not the case but it’s how the movie seemed to portray him.
Was there a fast and easy way to kill those cat statues? You know the ones that spew fire or ice and jump in the air and smear you over the floor? I could kill them but they always cost me a bunch of flasks.
The map thing is potentially immersion breaking. I look at games like FFXIV where they have easily accessible maps and it trivialises the game where I’m moving between quest markers on the map. I don’t ever bother to learn a zone because once I’ve gained two levels I’m unlikely to ever go back...
If the game ever releases I'll be happy for the folks that will be able to play it. I probably won't if I'm honest, I can't dedicate the hours I used to do with EQ and I'll never be happy half-assing it.
I can't help but think the team behind it are disorganised shills who have only managed...
I was initially stoked about these. The Hunter one is probably the best imo but am I correct in thinking you can only use them on Legendary and below armour slots, not Exotics? My Hunter will look a bit crappy with this set and Lucky Pants (when I eventually get them).
It’s odd you never see him working out or any reference to it. I mean, there’s suspension of disbelief and there’s this giant, ripped guy who just busses around the US slapping down bad guys and who just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
What kind of load times are you seeing for fights? Tempted to snag this but Tekken 5 was painfully slow and it's a dealbreaker for a fellow aged gamer. Those seconds are precious now!
What's the etiquette on using shittier weapons like Ticuu's, when you're working on the catalyst, over something more pewpew in Coil and Nightfalls? Avoid and just work them off in Vanguards?
I kind of miss the good old days when they made a full movie rather than part fucking one in a series they hope may get funding.
There's a difference between a trilogy and one movie spread over three installments.
I won't refer to the Seven Samurai any more, so... in the Magnificent Seven (!)...
