Esp with selos mounts / sow pots the benefits of bard are slightly diminished. I was bard on live and go enc on TLP and I've never regretted it (except gear is boring).

Second enc adds nothing except a second charm pet. Dealing with a second charm pet seems like more trouble than casting dots on the necro. You would just pay the local box crew to sit at the zone in and merk anyone who zones in.
