I dont give to kickstarter campaigns but I always root for developers. It isnt easy making indie games. I believe there is room for a Rust like survival game in space. Dual-Universe has the bones - now can apply the muscle and flesh.

Im not defending Woodley - he is not a fun fighter to watch because he does not initiate. However, he is the Champ - there is something to say for that.

Woodley takes into account his opponents strengths and then absolutely does not allow himself to fall into their game plan. He has great patience. Hes a champ - very strong and dynamic, but I am hesitant to call him great. I certainly dont think he is the greatest WW of all time.

I hope the character abilities are not as redundant as they are in EQ2. We dont need 4 different melee attacks that all do near the same amount of damage all on different cooldowns. That said, no one wants sandwich combat either. Strike the balance!

Cosmetics are fine. Devs have bills to pay. That said, I dont think the cosmetics should ever approach the coolness factor of hard-to-obtain "epics".

The survival game craze has bitten a chunk out of the MMO market - a market that was already a niche outside of WoW's unrepeatable success. There are also just a ton more games in general, from Destiny to League of Legends. I cant imagine a sub MMO capturing 10 million loyal players ever...

I'm not sure I agree with this analysis. $10 sub for a quality game is viable, imo.

Dwarf Paladin - day ONE!

Not even close to a good comparison. Sandwich combat pve vs. multi-ability cooldown pvp. It took maybe a few days to make a character in EQ. It probably takes weeks to make a character in Crowfall. Crowfall will have a "build your own" base area while EQ didnt have anything like that...

I quit WoW. Legion just didnt cut it. Great start but this c-team working on WoW didnt deliver, IMO. I did notice Holinka got demoted. Could be a good thing.

This isnt going to be some huge MMO that returns to the golden age. All we can hope for is that Pantheon has all the charm of EQ.

I liked the parlay card game in VG. I liked the vast open world with 3-6 dot creatures walking around in it. I liked that each race had a unique starter area. VG was great but just poorly pieced together. Id love to play a new VG with updated animations, graphics, and engine.

Im not that impressed by the first person shooter they implemented. Maybe I should play it more? It just feels bland.
