Being a staunch conservative, you'd think that I'd draw a line in the sand with people drinking and/or doing (soft) drugs at work, but I'm not entirely against it as long as it's not putting anyone in danger or the work suffers.

As long as it's not obvious and the work is getting done safely and efficiently, I don't really have a problem with it. The problem is that in practice people push the boundaries too far and far too many people think they're holding their shit tight and it's blatantly obvious they're high or have been drinking.

I've never worked fast food, but when I was young I did work several shitty, menial jobs (e.g. hanging drywall) and I understand why people that do those jobs, often do them while on shit. I don't drink or smoke weed and had never taken anything stronger than Motrin at that point in my life, so I just suffered through it. It sucked at 24 and I can only imagine what it's like for some grizzled 40 year-old. It's really no surprise why those dudes are cracking a beer the second they pull into their driveway, if not before.

Construction work is absolutely rife with addicts. When I was having my house built in 2015, I wanted some expensive upgrades in my bathroom and I had hundreds of leftover Oxycodone 10mg from my spinal fusion in 2013. I took a chance and approached the foreman with a proposition to do the work in exchange for my prescription. The guy didn't even hesitate and said "Huh? Fuck yeah, I will." We settled on each tab being worth $15 (I fleeced him, but hey, supply/demand) and I got thousands of dollars in tile work done.

Had the Burger King Ultimate Steakhouse Burger: It sucked. Not a huge mushroom fan to begin with, but they're okay in some stuff. Pretty sure fast food mushrooms are the worst possible version and my guts probably already incubating something. Their steakhouse sauce is.... alright? It's not worth the upcharge. Barely noticed the bacon/onion rings and for some reason I got a blast of fucking NUTMEG when I first bit into it. Not sure if they have some sort of seasoned bun or some one stored something too close to the Christmas flavored stuff or what, but it sucked.

I mean they are 100 percent canned mushrooms.

Went to Culver's finally after driving by it for some months.

Not bad. I got the butterburger but its cold and I didn't want the custard.

Culver's is just kind of ok to me. It's certainly not bad, but I'd rather have the steak and shake across the street from it. The tallow fries are great.

Taco Bell went and changed their shit around again. Specifically the value menu, which is where the free "Fire Tier" reward would be picked from. Fucking faggots, now it is a bunch of crap, except for the beef burrito they kept, which has never been on the free rewards for some reason.

Just bring back enchiritos and double decker tacos permanently and stop fucking around with chicken nuggets and fries and shit. Made the mistake of ordering nacho fries a few weeks ago and waited 15 fucking minutes at the window as they made fresh fries. They were the best quality fries I've ever had from there, as they are usually old and stale, but fuck waiting that long AFTER waiting for all the cars that were in front of me.

I've started only going to In 'n' Out and Chick Fil'a because everywhere else just fucking sucks. I may have to cut everyone else off completely at this rate.

New $6 American smasher deal from Sonics is top tier. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while and the combo is cheaper than anything else out there right now.

I think Reviewbrah was positive about it. I haven't ever had Sonic because I've never heard good things, but maybe they're trying to cast off their reputation.

Their corndogs and chili cheese coneys are excellent. Tots and onion rings are good too. Burgers are hit or miss. In CO they have a green chili cheeseburger I like, but sometimes their burgers are dry.

Taco Bell has been fucking themselves out of business since they removed the 90's they are a constant decline to dogshit and I have written them off sometime between them removing the Volcano Tacos and Removing Double Decker Tacos. They suck dick through a straw now and literally every Mexican restaurant and Hispanic Food Truck in a 100 mile radius is cheaper and better.

He was. That’s one reason I tried it. Most of the time their rep is earned but their smash burgers are great when made even semi-competently. They’re usually a bit pricey so that price makes it worth a try.

I've never tried a sonic smash burger, but their regular burgers are usually such aids. Their onion rings are definitely S-Tier though.
