I think most of the AI goals Daybreak is shooting for are reasonable, but Storybricks was selling untested and unproven snake oil.

I can tune my low E string fine, but when I press down at the twelfth fret the E goes flat and I get a lot of fret buzz. New strings and setup time? Still a noob with a MIM Tele and Fender's Greta amp

I think Brad will do well in this role. I hope that converting the game over to the Forge Light engine is one of the projects they get to kick off. Modern EQ is fun, but it strikes me as a loose collection of four to six different mmo's tied together. Maybe Brad can help steer the game back...

I do not program, but wouldn't you need one set of code for 32bit Win and another for 64bit? Or do you use one code base and let the compiler figure out all the optimizations?
