Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Call me slow but it only just occurred to me that when Kylo Ren is talking to Vader's helmet he's conversing with his grandfather... probably.

    Doctor Who

Went back and watched it and, yeah, you're entirely correct. I still think she's somehow been "infected" now even if it's just some Dalek code that will have invaded her system. The Doctor had this, "Oh, I'm so sorry you're doomed" face on and Missy is hovering in the background saying...

    Doctor Who

She's fucked now. She was inside the Dalek body when the energy was transferred in to it. I'd imagine that has made her a Dalek hybrid. Explains what ultimately becomes of her.

The toughest I ever saw Connery was the first clip on this: After that it was downhill.

I'll watch it and I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I thought this till I had a quick look. Turns out there are a bunch of cash-in variations including3PO being facefucked off Salacious Crumband one with aremovable mask with Anthony Daniels underneath. The Star Wars merchandise machine knows no limits.

What's the worst movie you've seen at the theatre?

Not in England. They released it in the cinemas here. I clearly hadn't had my fill of those lovable little Ewoks after Jedi.

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

Snipes is clearly too old and is unlikely to ever receive work on big budget movies again following his jail time. I would struggle to name any young, black actors with enough clout to fill that role, maybe Ashley Walters. Most of the actors I thought of are all 40+.

Heh... I called Eddie sacrificing himself last year. Any indication on when Season 2 starts?

What's the worst movie you've seen at the theatre?

I managed to watch it all the way through about six months ago but can't recall a single thing about it now. It's a struggle to find a remotely interesting Chinese/HK film that doesn't have ridiculously implausible fight scenes and/or overused wire fu. I think one of the greatest fight...

What's the worst movie you've seen at the theatre?

I was pretty disappointed with this in the theatre but have watched it a few times since and think it's okay. Also... As for worst movie I've seen, I'll go with Superman IV only because I can't think of the title of this arty, depressing and shitty film an equally arty and depressing ex...

    X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

Nightcrawler - Marvel Wikia Also discusses the mass he can teleport. In short, as Column said, the upper limits of his powers are still unknown.

    X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

I don't think he could teleport the Hulk. From memory, and playing him in Marvel Super Heroes RPG many moons ago, he has a limit on the mass he can teleport. He also has a limit on distance.

    DC Universe Animated Movies

While I do love Batman I would like to see them do a few more Green Lantern movies or a less prominent DC character like Booster Gold.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

I hadn't read that either. Just googled it and now I'm looking for a sharp object to fall on.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Clearly I need to read Hush. Eye of the beholder fella. I really like Frank Miller's artwork. DKR and Ronin being prime examples.

    Interstellar (2014)

While I didn't hate it, I found it pretty lacklustre, my problem wasn't with the science but with the mediocre storyline. I mean, like many of you did I imagine, I pretty much figured out he was going to be responsible somehow for the books very early on, the movie just seemed to be a long...

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Even at my most ludicrously optimistic I can't see how this movie is going to be anything other than utter fail.

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

Yeah, he is an exceptional artist. I loved his Marshal Law mini series and of course his League of Extraordinary Gentlemen stuff is amazing but, yeah, his work on Nemesis ranks highest with me.

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

This individual does not speak for all of the UK obviously. That said, when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s there was less access to US imported comics so we generally read things like Commando, think black and white WW2 comics with Germans exclaiming, "Schweinhund!" or Japanese simply...

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

Kind of a grey area as most movies have some amount of US backing but I wouldn't class the LoTR/Hobbit movies as strictly American. Same goes for Harry Potter, James Bond, etc. And, while they might not float your boat I'm sure many people your side of the pond enjoyed The King's Speech, The...

The fuck! Way to spoil the movie for me fucker!!!

    The Flash

While I mostly agree with your view I'd argue that they can't refine, and sometimes completely ignore, the heroes' costumes so they don't look dumb on-screen but expect you to give them a pass on their plotlines being full of issues because, well, it's a comic.

    John Wick (2014)

Body of Evidence. Madonna's breasts stole the show. Otherwise, yeah, I can't think of a movie I've seen him in where he hasn't nailed his performance.
  32. G

    The Flash

Way I rationalize it, they're a bunch of kids following the lead of a charismatic and intellectual father figure in the form of Dr Wells. The fact that he's a controlling, psychotic, super-powered fucker with an agenda of his own (taking samples from the prisoners to either augment himself or...

    Doctor Who

I've been watching quite a bit of the old Matt Smith episodes lately with my partner's kid and I have to admit I really miss his Doctor, possibly more than Tennant at his prime. There was a definite warmth to his performance. You trusted him to fix things somehow and yet despite his age and...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Cage is a movie star, McGregor is an actor. Very different approaches and expectations of each. Movie stars take a character and make it fit their style. Perfect examples being Cage, Connery, Arnie, Stallone, Statham, Chan, etc. Whereas actors take a role and change their performance to...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Yeah, Cage was being interviewed about Outcast when he made that comment though. Presumably someone asked him how Christensen shaped up as a bad-ass former crusader with a tortured soul and Cage praised him on his ability to handle that role as evidenced by his performance in Star Wars.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I'd imagine his statement has something to do with the fact Hayden Christensen's character in Outcast is edgy, dark, and soulful. Or something.

    Interstellar (2014)

Apologies for both the bump (just watched this yesterday) and for a question that might have already been asked but... where did they get the alcohol from they seem to merrily sip in this movie? There are numerous scenes with them sitting on the porch necking bottles of beer and in NASA...

    Terminator Genisys (2015)

School bus flipping over as opposed to a fire engine. Inspired! Also, two Brits and two Aussies playing the good guys. Surely there must be some decent American actors who can play these parts? As far as I'm aware he's another T-1000.
