100% agree with this after beating the game with the true ending, saving every town, etc. I'd give it a 7.5/10, but it's really only good for 40-50 hours, so if you care about staying at $1/hour, it falls a little short of that. The game really needs BBI, or some way to reliably farm harder...

I like the game, probably over half way through. Some side quests are really fun. My only complaint is after Chapter 4 on Kiryu men in black all stun lock the fuck out of you, which can get pretty frustrating.

To summarize my experience so far in a co-op game (2 players): -You can start with 4 characters if you leave the game open and other people join and boot them afterwards. I learned this purely by mistake -If you have 4 player made characters you cannot boot one later -Mages still are amazing...

Just got this today and about to fire it up. I'm skeptical, but intrigued. I do wonder how long before a decently robust wiki exists. I think this game will benefit from a lack of player knowledge before it releases for PC.

You can buy large shards from the maid in Firelink after a certain point.

I don't understand why they would go backwards on crafting materials instead of just making the new shit cost more. In essence they just made blue DT the shit.

Anyone still playing much? I just got my fightstick and the game (ps4) the other day and have just been practicing in training mode. I'm not a complete scrub, but the fightstick adjustment is real.

Lunatic isn't bad at all if you grind on Birthright. Stats can get out of hand really fast, especially when you start getting skills and seals/promotions for more skills.

Just a reminder the gold and weapon farming DLC's are out today, for $2.49 each. The XP grinding map has also been out for a bit too.

How'd you like Conquest? I just started my Conquest and Revelations saves, but I still have a few chapters left in Birthright before I switch completely.

You can turn off the voice acting in the options.

Btw, the Boo Camp DLC is out for xp grinding. It's only 2.49 and it really helps when you get stuck and need a little more juice. It isn't as OP as the Awakening xp map and the mobs will attack you (the green ones).

I'm in the same boat as hodj, supports just mean more stats for fighting. I've read some of the fan translation dialogue and was equally unimpressed. Keep in mind a lot of these outrage videos pick a couple out of many and let's not pretend Awakening was great for the story and support...

Well, it is the best investment gold wise to upgrade your characters. Buying Luna for 375 gold is crazy town when you compare the cost to upgrading an iron weapon to +1, which is 1000 gold and a resource. Aptitude being 2500 is steep though. I guess the once a day visiting helps moderate...

I started getting some other skills for characters, mostly early ones and I set up my castle to be easily taken. Just make sure you fight in my castle and go straight for the throne.

Your maid/butler can heal too. Staves are staves, as long as someone can use them.

Did you go with a cartridge of Birthright to start? Also if you buy one of the cartridges, the other two paths are 800 blocks of memory each (1600 total) and the other dlc maps are all pretty small too. There's also a freebie map for release that you can play after getting your castle.
