Sandmann wasn't a public figure and didn't have to prove actual malice, that's why the media settled with him. Rittenhouse is, so he does have to prove it, and winning a libel case is going to be a huge uphill battle.

Convicted in an actual trial? No, but there weren't any high-profile right wingers that were convicted just for being right-wingers either. Please stop with this it was just trespassing bullshit. They were ramming at the barricaded gates to the House chamber calling for the heads of people...

1/6 is the obvious example, now they're all peaceful protesters who did nothing wrong, being held as political prisoners. Elevating Babbit to martyr status also has direct parallels to the left elevating Floyd to martyr, both were criminals and do not deserve posthumous veneration. Floyd was...

Do you think the same thing about Arpaio and Clarke? They ran jails, not prisons. Many people who had not been convicted of anything were held in Arpaio's tent city, and Clarke brutalized many inmates that had not been convicted. It's not just right-wing states and sheriffs either, Riker's...

Rittenhouse/Chauvin was just this shit happening for the 20th time. Remember that illegal immigrant that shot someone in San Francisco and then got off with just weapons charges? Right went absolutely nuts over that. Same fucking shit as the left going apeshit over Brock Turner getting off...

LOL are you serious? Do a search for Boozecube's posts on Arpaio alone. Either prisoners have rights, or they don't. Either the accused have due process rights, or they don't. You can't exalt in the poor treatment of prisoners in one circumstance while demanding good treatment in others...

The party I support? Maybe you should look in the mirror and your ability to hold up David Clarke and Joe Arpaio as paragons of policing and justice. Or laughing when Texas prisons have mass deaths to heat stroke, then five minutes later declaring all the 1/6 rioters political prisoners and...

You really don't get it? It's pure tribalism. He's on the wrong team so he's automatically guilty. Reality must be altered to match that. This has happened with basically every high profile prosecution the last 5 years, left and right.

    Path of Exile

This is what I did when I got sick of Scourge mobs killing me in HC: 70k armor, 90% allres, CI, 100% spell suppression. You can facetank the Sirus maze meteor, let alone the die beam. The gear isn't pricey, but Enlighten definitely is this league.

I thought about ignite but spell damage doesn't apply to ignite.

    Path of Exile

Ritual just gave me a prophecy wand with t2 spell damage, t1 hybrid spell damage, +1 fire gems, burning damage, dot mult, and an open suffix for fire dot mult craft. So, is Scorching Ray still playable these days? Seems like it's the only build that could use it.

This case is substantially weaker than even the Zimmerman case, an acquittal is really likely. If it wasn't for the political circus surrounding it they'd be trying to plea bargain it away. The same lawyers I follow that said Chauvin was 100% guilty are pretty much all saying an acquittal is...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

You can do heavy armor on armor training classes. Fighter 7/Hellknight 8 gives +5 to DEX bonus, so you can get +8 from mithril full plate, and you have levels left over to get witch for +3 and alchemist for mutagen. Really fun trick to make a full plate tank good early on: In Drezen, when...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

It's level 40. The whole thing is basically a curiosity, since you only enable going over 20 by picking the legend mythic path when you're already done with 90% of the game. He's also definitely turned off shared XP so he gets 6x XP while soloing the game, meaning you hit level 20 shortly after...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

"Not really playing" means you're using a strategy that's guaranteed to work no matter how hard the difficulty is set. With infinite damage, the game difficulty is totally irrelevant, you could buff Unfair to have 100x the HP and 100x the damage everything has now and it would be exactly as easy.
  16. Xequecal

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

I understand things like infinite damage loops exist, but that's not really playing the game. In Skyrim you could also use crafting loops to get infinite stats and infinite damage, but when you're at the point of just exploiting the game engine it's not really caster vs. not-caster anymore...
  17. Xequecal

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Yeah, casters are pretty useless. The main thing you need from them is Haste which is actually kind of a pain since out of all the companions, only Nenio and Woljif can actually cast it. Both are almost completely useless at everything else, Nenio for being a caster and Woljif because it's...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Stuff has pretty high AC on higher difficulties and you will quickly hit a brick wall where you can't hit anything if you're not maxing out attack bonuses. On Hard you basically can't dual wield because the -2 to attack is fatal and you need to stack all the bonuses you can find. About halfway...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Iceplant hex for +2 AC, and ability to self cast mage armor (Sword saint doesn't get it) for archmage armor. Also, stig witch is a spontaneous caster which enables dragon disciple.

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Haven't gotten that far yet, doesn't bode well lol. My first build hit a wall and I had to restart, now I've just conquered Drezen and the strat of sending the 65 AC tank that nothing can hit to the front to tank everything while 4 archer companions shoot from range has worked out ok.
  21. Xequecal

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

The game's difficulty is high enough that it seems impossible to get anywhere on higher difficulties without munchkining. To survive unfair I had to make my main a scaled fist/sword saint/witch/dragon disciple/instinctual warrior to get AC high enough.

    Hearthstone

Yeah I played this for a few hours and am basically completely done with Hearthstone. The next two fucking years of this game will be nothing but clown fiesta aggro cancer with no relevant decisions and 100% luck of what the first 4-5 cards you draw are because the bullshit quests completely...

    Path of Exile

It's 75-100% of your HP pool and the degen hits your mana, it's not great unless you've managed really high chaos resist. Also Forbidden Taste is technically not a life flask so you have to roll the adjacent mod.
  24. Xequecal

    Path of Exile

I'm now doing low life ivory tower since I figured out you could put either "use when you use an adjacent flask" or "use when you use a life flask" on a sorrow of the divine and essentially have huge instant burst healing available for an energy shield build that normally can't get it.

Oh my god, not PREJUDICE! My sincerest apologies, that's something that absolutely never happens here and I should have thought twice before sullying these sacred halls with such filth.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

I haven't been following this at all. The thing about this I find funniest is all the people moving from WoW to FFXIV, citing the sexism. I'm pretty sure it's literally impossible for a US corporation to be more sexist than a Japanese one, regardless of what happened.
  29. Xequecal

    Path of Exile

I added "110% more damage over time" to the chest because PoB still has the old 20% poison damage instead of 30% and there's no option to enable the cruelty buff.
  30. Xequecal

    Path of Exile

I managed to figure out a SST build where the mana regen at least works on paper, dunno if it will actually be smooth in practice with like 150 unreserved mana. Lets me use my favorite HC item combo of Cerberus Limb + Magna Eclipsis to get 2k armor, 100 life, and 400 ES from the same shield.
  31. Xequecal

    Path of Exile

Forbidden rite is only good if the secondary projectiles and the explosion from one cast can hit the same target. Otherwise, it's only slightly better scaling than Dark Pact (12% of life to damage vs. 6% of life to damage and 76% more) and that's never been good. Self cast lets you use Rite with...
  32. Xequecal

    Path of Exile

Every SST build I try to make runs into the same problem: Mana. It's a 10 mana skill, in a 6L with these new multipliers you get a mana cost of something like 10 × 1.5^3 x 1.4^2 = 66 mana. Good luck with that, it's a 0.6s attack time skill, after attack speed you're going to be at over 200 mana...

    Stellaris

This is only very superficially true. At galaxy generation most of the systems near your homeworld get the same precursor flag. You can only discover a precursor in a system with that precursor's flag, so in most games which precursors you will get is essentially predetermined. If you're flagged...

    Hearthstone

OMY is by far not the problem with Paladin. The problem with Paladin is infinite free spells and card advantage. 1/1 for 1 that draws a card, 3/4 for 3 that draws a card, +2/+2 buff for 2 that draws a card, weapon that plays two free secrets. You can't even stabilize against this shit late game...

    Path of Exile

The key with that item is that it goes off reserved life, you don't need to feed actual life to it. You use Petrified Blood with Ivory Tower. When you channel, it just reserves the top half of your already empty life bar to feed the damage and you gain ES to take hits while channeling. You don't...

    Hearthstone

Nah I didn't copy from reddit. It's just C'Thun Control Warrior. The thing that really turned it around was realizing I needed to play all the heal cards. Armor vendors, Scrap Golems, Shieldmaidens. Cut Mor'shan elite because the face decks (DH, Hunter) remove taunts way too easily but...

Hit legend with Control Warrior. Fastest I've ever shot up to legend. Warlock is an autoloss but I'm just farming literally everything else.

    Hearthstone

I'm cautiously optimistic, Pen Flinger nerf means Paladin doesn't have a late game burn plan anymore. Instead of crushing aggro and being even against everything else, now they'll lose to any slower deck that can withstand the initial onslaught of secrets. You can stabilize at like 3 life...

Is Lin Wood still this kid's lawyer? This stunt of "we don't have to ask the court to change residence" has his insanity all over it.
