This is a good time waster with quite the (grindy) and massive endgame. If you like the idea of mixing/matching and fusing monsters to create more powerful monsters so you can grind more, I think you'll like this game. A good overview of the endgame which I'm barely just starting to scratch...

Sitting at 1350 and torn on waiting for honing changes which I suspect will happen sooner than later with the fevered pitch of whining you see wherever you turn or just man up and keep punching myself in the nuts.

I already got my money's worth (Gold Pack) and then some... It sure is nice of them giving us a duplicate pack we purchased for free!

So it released and I'm playing it. Only a couple of hours in, but it's decent so far. It's gonna be a long long grind.

It's good and you'll easily get 80+ hours, probably hundreds more playing with builds/min-maxing. It gets much better each patch they release.

I was super excited from what I read on the previews and I bought it. DLC Story/missions were 'OK'. Did a couple of missions on normal difficulty @ level 40, don't really have any desire to log in to re-grind. /shrug

It's not very clear, but I figured it out.

So I bought this game. Started on normal difficulty doing the tutorial. Got to the step when you had to liberate the inner jump gate (after you build a fleet from salvage) and am getting my ass handed to me. If I'm having troubles this early... I assume I need to grind a little? Thoughts/Tips?

I've done SSF the past couple of leagues now and I'm done with it. While not dealing with the shitty trade system is nice hitting an artificial wall just to grind more is just plain a waste of time and I have plenty of other activities to waste my time with.
