I had the same experience with the game. Didn't view the cut scenes etc, just played the game. It's easy all the way through 60. Got 2 classes to 60 then got bored and un-subbed.

They should let you speed up the lv 50 MSQ somehow as a new player. Doing, what seems like 100+, lv 50 MSQ for 4k exp a pop is mind-numbing.

Anything in particular that I should be doing once hitting 50, or is it best to just keep leveling and worry about gear once 60?

I got my SCH to 40 and WHM to 35. Still can't decide which is more enjoyable, or if the game just isn't enjoyable. One day I'll come to the realization that I just don't have the time available for MMOs anymore and stop wasting my time.

Any suggestion on what class is best to run through with for the first time? I know you can eventually do all of them, but are some easier than others for the first run through?

Game lost much of its sandbox feel with the 1.2 patch. I feel that they're really pushing people into paying but keeping the f2p tag. There are very limited ways to make gold now.
