I agree the book dwells way too long on the sailors in the pit but the part where the guards who were overpowered are forced to remain due to their dishonour is fairly key early on in setting the concept of honour > all else.

Sacrificial Axe is a good offhand as it gives back FP on kills. Corpse Piler glugs down FP. You just need to two hand the RoB and you still get the offhand weapon bonus.

I mean, there’s always the Goldmask set. That’s on par with Wretch levels of coverage. Quite high requirements to obtain that though, especially if you’re not Int/Fth build, and it’s easy to miss.

In the UK it is. All of the FX stuff is on D+ including Justified. Making me consider resubbing but it's a struggle.

Any blunt weapon stance breaks the Crystallian mobs. Dual wield a couple of crappy hammers and they’re embarrassingly easy.

If you want a broken weapon on trash then the sword you can choose after the first clear is just insane with a Faith build. Next to useless on many bosses due to their high saves but you stand at the entrance in the Mohgwyn zone and just keep clearing and resetting you’ll cap your stats in short...
