    Interesting, Non Political News

Yeah, this Fermilab Muon G-2 thing is legit exciting. The Higgs Boson thing was big and that was a predicted particle that fits the standard model. This could require some rework which is always a pretty big deal.

Science!! Fucking magnets, how do they work?

Yeah there's a bunch of stuff out there on it. Could end up being a huge thing once the precision is on point. that 99.999 percent thing isn't hyperbole either, but for this kind of thing the accuracy required is crazy precise.

Science!! Fucking magnets, how do they work?

This shit is really cool. People went wild with the Higgs Boson and that was something predicted by the Standard Model. This could end up being something unpredictable and end up altering the model which is a pretty big deal. Need more precision though to be sure instead of only 99.999...

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The biggest issue with this is that it just feels compressed. Like if it was a more normal 8 or 10 episodes maybe the could flesh out some stuff so it wouldn't feel so sudden and jarring. Oh they won't make me a master? Time to kill the younglings.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

I wouldn't hate it if Miami took him at 6 over Chase since WR is way deeper. Although if someone takes him earlier and Sewell is still there I'd really prefer that they take him over Chase as well, since they can get a good WR at 18 or in a later round.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

I mean it was like that before, even way back in the 80s with Newsome and Winslow. It's always been a thing, but these sort of elite TE prospects don't come a long very often. When was the last time a TE prospect had this kind of hype? Winslow Jr?

MLB 2021 "Hot Stove": Third Time's a Charm for Dodgers

I mean the dude railed against the foreign substance stuff and eventually went to the dark side with probably 3/4 or more of the pitchers in the league. But yeah, if you're going to spout out about it, you'd think you'd realize there's a good chance you're going to be under the microscope.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

You need both a handful of really good players and a lack of bad players at the other positions to be actually good. Having a couple of stud players when the rest of your team is dogshit isn't likely to get it done. But having all pretty good players across the board without any exceptional...

NBA 2020-2021: The Dubs Empire Strikes Back

I find Barkley and Shaq entertaining except when they're talking about the Modern NBA. It's really strange how stuck in the 90s/early 2000s a lot of these dudes are.

Not the most flattering picture of her, but I'll go out on a limb and say that homely is not something that likely gets commonly used when describing her.

they're shooting almost 50 percent from 3. that's pretty much what you'd have expected that they needed to do, except that they're winning big.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

Yeah, Tannehill was a WR early on in college then switched. Also, he wasn't nearly as bad in Miami as some people made out. I've always been on the side of him not having been the issue with Miami just being mediocre/average for his time there.

I'm sure they just feel like Gase is QB AIDS and that Darnold should be fine. If there's no conditions for that 2 then it's a bit more than I expected, but if he turns out to be a decent QB then it's an easy trade.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

I'm sure there's a lot of reasons for it, but the fact is he gets good free agents and has a pretty shit hit rate in the draft.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

I think he's actually very good at getting mid level free agents and getting a ton of value out of them. I'd say he's good at evaluating existing NFL talent, but pretty bad at it with college players.

I mean this show has plenty of terrible writing too. I joked about it earlier, but the disguise thing was retarded as fuck. I enjoy this for what it is since Sebastian is awesome and Mackie is better than expected and obviously their interplay is pretty fun but there's plenty of real dumb...

    Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

Movie wasn't particularly good but not a complete shitshow I guess. Like you have to know going into it that it's going to be retarded, but hopefully it's fun and works in a way that's just enjoyable. There was some of that, but maybe there just wasn't enough of it to quite get there for me.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

That's what I was saying. There's a lot of status that comes from owning a team and eventually when you do sell you generally will make a massive profit. 20M is obviously a lot of money for most people, but 20M is only 1 percent of 2B and most major franchises cost significantly more than that.
  34. Sterling

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

It's not that most teams aren't profitable, they're just not nearly as profitable as other things those people can do with a couple of billion dollars with a few outlier teams that are actively not profitable. The big profits are from resale years down the line.

2021 NFL Offseason: QB Carousel Imminent -- Retirement Boogaloo

Yeah, it's come up with a few teams. There's been a lot of times where some of the most profitable teams were garbage low salary teams too, but most owners I'd imagine like the social status of owning a team more than they care about the relatively shit rate of return year to year.
