I went to that spot last night and the fish I was getting were all crap. Maybe the spot changed since maintenance? Non the less though, I went to Illya Island instead and made about 400k last night, so thanks for the tip. Why would you need a fishing alt?

SL definitely changed the vibe of the game. If Funcom created a classic server for AO, pre-SL people would flock to it. Especially now since they have the updated graphics. I would easly pay $2/month just so I could roam Tir County or hit up Temple of Three Winds again on a updated graphics...

And the 100th EQ expansions with a max lvl of 1025 with the opportunity to grind out 1,000,000 AA points, and play the new fire beetle race!

Who cares if they quit theres still more people who come to the server to replace them. Which is exactly why I wanted a Daybreak Classic server. I enjoyed Luclin, I enjoyed PoP, LoY, DoN. But anything after that IMO just sucked and ruined the game.

The 1500 people that play P99 at peak seem to disagree. Back to P99 it is then I guess.

Fucking trash. I bet Blizzard will make a classic WoW server before Daybreak makes a Classic Everquest server.

Then they should just launch a 3rd and merge the servers once all the poopsockers get their fix. Resources are better spent towards have 100% classic content then adding instancing to zones like Veeshan's peak or Nagafen's Lair.

Instancing sounds great and all for dealing with high populations, but couldn't they just launch 2 progression servers like they have the past 2 progression server cycles? When it comes down to it this is just gonna be another experiment with progression servers. Progression server 3.0 I believe...

Just placed my vote for option 3. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a server capped at velious!

Hopefully with the new acquisition by CN they'll be smart enough to put the time into creating a authentic Velious capped server. If Jagex could do it with runescape and with the money backed behind Daybreak games now I don't see why they wouldn't do it.

The only way I'm playing this is if its a P99 capped at Velious or Luclin Server. Cause I know once it gets to Omens or War or GoD I'll be bored.

This guy has probably spent more on Art then he spent on SOE. It's just another toy for him.

Let's all hope that Viktor Vekselberg is secretly a Everquest Classic enthusiast and that this is all part of his plan to get a classic EQ server up.

I tried to play a couples months ago, but the game has literally gone to shit. There's no one, plus a dupe fucked up the economy a year ago. Such a shame, the game was so good back in the day. Hopefully if Funcom has any sense left in them they'll make an AO 2.
