Cata overall wasn’t awful even though the world/zones were pretty disjointed. The dungeons were really good pre nerf. I will always fucking hate it though because they destroyed ret and completely removed blood as a dps spec.

The leagues are 90 days with a complete wipe at the end. It’s not only ok for people to get good loot it’s also a hell of a lot more fun.

I logged in for the first time in several leagues and aside from drops and current league problems the game is a fucking slog now.

Larratt has as much charisma as any sport/entertainer in the world and beyond him there are a ton of interesting characters to follow. Matches are quick relative to other sports so its pretty much never boring.

Trinkets are the only reason any of it is being considered. All other gear is normalized and no one gives a shit how long it’ll take to get a crit/haste chest instead of the vers/mastery one that just dropped.

MDI is pretty cool to watch just because it’s very apparent how well they can play the game. The downside is that for anyone who doesn’t play M+ there is no context to the skills people need to be able to pull it off so it ends up niche.
