New game about to hit the shelves: Scythe. Very very good game for 1-5 players. It is crunchy, of that there is no dobut, 1910, WW1 brought about massive new techs and the creation of the "factory." The factory was so amazing IT ended WW1 and now you play one of 5 eastern european countries...

Tangent, if you have never read the books, I highly recomend them. Many little things are explained. Some things between the books and games contradict, but all in all, they support each other very well. You learn alot more about early Yen, Triss. Even learn the origin of some Gwent cards!

Not co-op, but Battle for Souls is a great head to head game. Easy to play, hard to master. Quick setup and take down. The art is amazing, to boot.

Skyrim remaster with mods & high rez packs for consoles... As a pc player this does not impress me at all. But it seems like a pretty easy $$$ grab for Bethesda with minimal work on their part. Hell, they should add Mac to the list to round things out. Hope their might be more.

New edition of Thru the Ages is out. Though the game is a tad dry, if you like civilization builders it looks pretty awesome. Gives a good tabletop vibe of the old Sid Meyers Civ games.

Played Descent 2nd Ed again tonight. 2 encounters. 1st map, party worked together and beat the overlord in about 2hrs. Good round, no side had any major advantages and it was fun. Winning that round set players up for equal footing for going after the rangers artifact bow in the 2nd map...

Played 1st ed. Its a fun game but I enjoyed 3 and 4 player games alot more than just head to head. And there are great mechanics (1st ed) that make multiplayer shine so well that are just do not exist in 1 on 1 game. The worlds of GoT is about trying to get to the top while covering your ass...

Just received and played Elysium. Seems like a basic trick taking game, but lots more depth and strategy than at first glance. Cards and components are gorgeous. Highly recommend if you are looking for good new strategy game.

You want to try something different but very neat, look up Bruges on Board game geek. Everything in one box. Card game with some board mechanics. EVERY card is unique and every card has multiple uses. And single expansion makes it even more fun. I think. Limited only by being a 4man (max)...

Just got Robinson Crusoe (coop) and Argent the Consortium (not coop). Both games appear pretty heavy play, but high strategy high replayability. High hopes!
