Oh I agree. People would be asking where the fuck $800k went instead of only $160k. I do think he wanted to make a game. He just wanted to do it riding on other peoples work while he got the lion's share of the money/credit. It was pretty much a given that he was going to fuck up the finances.

Once the project moved off KS I don't think it was about funding a game anymore. It was about getting as much as possible before pulling the plug. The kick starter was about a game. The website was about paying bills.

The part of the story that is missing is the truth. They did not have a demo before, or during the KS. There is absolutely no way that someone with a working demo is going to sit back and watch $460,000 walk out the door without showing off everything they have.

Going to be interesting to see if they keep updating that number. Forum subs will likely die off quickly after today.

You can't blame the angel investor for telling Brad to take a hike. Why invest good money on a bunch of bums who have made a mess of this since the beginning? That is money better invested someplace else.

It was. These guys actually took peoples money for doing LESS then what other kickstarters showed off for free. In fact far as I can tell they STILL don't have fuck all to show off. So they not only "paid themselves back" for doing nothing, they went ahead and continued to do nothing of worth...

Shame that they managed to steal as much as they did. Still though it could of been MUCH worse. I would of been angry if they managed to con the $800,000 they wanted out of people. At least this way they only really got a small pay out. Those assholes don't deserve a nice 6 digit pay out...

Nope, I don't live in California. I got teenagers in the house who played football though and anyone who has followed HS football at a championship level has heard of De La Salle. They can pack out stadiums better then some university teams lol.

De La Salle HS football team probably holds the record for greatest winning streak. 151 games, 12 perfect seasons. Grown ass men pretending to beat each other up is just sad. It was totally awesome when you were 12 though I guess.

I enjoy the drinks from Sonic. The cherry limeade being my favorite. The food is total garbage though. I don't think I have ever eaten there without it all just tasting like grease, and then having the shits later that same day.
