Don't think this game failed because it was a sandbox. It failed because it had garbage animations, potato character control, and shit tier performance. Beyond that nothing else the game could have offered would even matter.

You can gem your weapons to scale off any stat you want, which is great for healers. So you can throw a gem in your 2 handed axe to scale off focus (healing stat) for damage instead of strength and go kill shit about as well as anyone.

Just a heads up, servers are being locked on a rotating schedule that is predetermined and NOT based on population. One of the weirder decisions I have seen.

Rolled on Jiwan and the launch has been pretty damn smooth. Just couldn't justify waiting in a long que to play on an overcrowded server in a game that has zero non-instanced content.

I enjoy world PvP, which is making me think about choosing Mushin. But playing the beta, it seemed the zones instanced out into separate channels pretty quickly. If Mushin just has "PvP daily land" channel 1 through 20, each with 40 players while a lesser server has "PvP daily land" channel 1...

Is there a reason to even want to be on a busy server in this game? Seems like almost everything is cross server instances fort he most part. And even in the open world an area doesn't get very many people in it before it gets split off into a different channel.

I don't see any chance they let Middleton go. Even if they have to match a max offer (which I doubt), when the cap goes up after next year his contract is going to look good. Then in 2 years when the cap explodes, whatever he is getting is going to look like a steal.
